After the Jerusalem Magistrate Court rejected the Municipality’s demand to prevent the book launch of “Nakba in Hebrew – a political journal,” the Municipality has appealed to the District Court and was rejected again. The launch of the book will take place as planned!
We thank Judge Efrat Shamla-Cohen of the Magistrate’s Court, and Judge Avigdor Dorot of the District Court, and, in general, a thanks to the judicial system that is facing the political pressures against freedom of expression.
Many thanks to Yossi Havilio, who represented us pro bono and works overtime to fight freedom of expression for all of us.
All are invited to come to the book launch event tonight.”
