Watch: Matza making, Brisk style:
Rabbi Soloveitchik, head of the Brisk yeshiva and and the eldest member of the Yeshiva, came to the matzah-making ceremony in the Biderman bakery, despite being 96 years of age. The Rabbi kept a close watch over all to make sure that the rules were abided by.
0202 Editor’s Notes:
Matza – an unleavened flatbread that is traditionally consumed during the Passover holiday.
The “Brisk dynasty” and their followers (known as “Briskers”) are known for a tendency towards strictness in the Halakha (Jewish law).
