“Passover sacrifice ‘practice’ in the Jewish Quarter. Now that we have completed the practice, we will merit the opportunity to perform the proper sacrifice in its true location. Next year.” [1]

0202 Editor’s Note:
[1] The Torah mandates Jews to ritually slaughter a lamb on the eve of Passover. During biblical times, the Passover sacrifice was performed annually in the Temple. In modern-day Israel, different organizations wish to reenact this ritual at the Temple Mount. However, the police and courts refuse to permit Passover sacrifice re-enactments on the Temple Mount, saying it could lead to unrest and disruption of public order.
