[1] The phrase 'The Temple Mount is in our hands' is famous in Israel because it is what was announced on the radio when the Temple Mount was captured by IDF forces during the 1967 War.
[2] The issue of ascending the Temple Mount is a source of dispute among Jews: some (including many Haredim) consider it a violation of one of three oaths made by the Jewish people to God, as described in the Babylonian Talmud, not to attempt to bring about the Messianic redemption by force; others consider this prohibition to be obsolete in the modern day.
